Update: Our friend and former DPFD Member and DPA Director Joe Miccio had an accident while fishing off the Florida Keys with Betsy and son Joey. Joe is in rehab recovering from surgery. No gifts but feel free to send a card to Joe at 4001-10 Ice Castle Way, Naples FL 34112.
Update: No dogs -- even on leashes -- are permitted on FINS beaches from March 15 through Labor Day to protect our threatened and endangered species. This includes the stretches East and West of Davis Park/Ocean Ridge. We are told the police are stopping people with dogs. Town Code requires dogs to be on leashes at all times, even on our beach. PS: As a kindness to your neighbors and the Fire Dept vehicles, please scoop the poop on the Burma Road -- and everywhere else!

Free Movie Night, this Friday, July 29 at 8pm, in the play area near the Marina. Bring a blanket or beach chair and come see Moana. Free popcorn and juice compliments of the Harbor Store (free bug spray too). Rain or Wind date August 5.
Disney Day at the Casino, Thursday, August 4 from noon to 4pm. Face painting, rock painting, kids cornhole, sing-along, free ice pops.
Story Time at the Library (Post Office), Tuesdays, August 2 and 9 at 11am.
Free Blood Pressure Screenings, Thursdays, August 4 and 18 at 5pm at Bedside Manor (Dune Walk).
Mosquito Control: The DPA arranges for Suffolk County Vector Control to conduct fogging for adult mosquitos on Tueasday evenings, and periodic larviciding in standing water. Please try to stay off the walks and decks when they are fogging.
Town Code: No bikes, scooters, skateboards on the boardwalks. Please let your renters and visitors know. it's a safety issue.
